All our products do not contain preservatives. Our traditional baked mooncakes may be kept at room temperature for 5-7 days, if well-aerated and away from sunlight and humidity. Our snow-skin mooncakes may be similarly stored, but for no more than a day. Thereafter, please refrigerate the products to enjoy them for up to month (the shelf-life will vary depending on your exact storage conditions).

We strongly discourage putting snow-skins and traditional baked mooncakes together in the same box, as the humidity from the snow-skins will adversely affect the texture and the longevity of the baked products.

To enjoy your mooncakes warm, you may gently toast them, or microwave them for 10-20 seconds.

We only use natural ingredients in our products and do not use sugar substitutes. Customers with very strict dietary restrictions are advised to seek relevant medical advice.

Our mooncakes are sold in boxes of 4 via our website due to online-order processing limitations. You may wish to visit our physical shop and ask our staff to pack the flavours that you want together in a box, depending on product availability. Please note that snow-skin mooncakes are only sold in boxes of 4.

As we do not use preservatives in all of our products, we only begin making the delicate snow-skin mooncakes in the very last two days before Mid-Autumn Festival so that our customers enjoy the freshest possible mooncakes. Pre-ordering allows us to plan for the correct quantities to prepare, to avoid wastage while ensuring that your orders are fulfilled. While we do set aside a small portion for our walk-in customers, these are on a first-come-first-serve basis.

Collection for pre-ordered snow-skin mooncakes are scheduled on the day before Mid-Autumn Festival, or on the morning of Mid-Autumn Festival itself.

That said, our kitchen staff may occasionally surprise us with small batches of snow-skin mooncakes over the weekends if they happen to have some spare time. These are on a first-come-first-serve basis and the online shop will be updated accordingly.

We do regularly update product availabilities for online orders, while reserving a portion of our handmade goodies for walk-in customers. However, our online admin has no real-time visibility on the in-store situation and cannot guarantee the availability of products for walk-in purchases. It really depends on foot traffic! We therefore highly encourage you to drop in for a visit at our physical shop and try your luck!

You may indicate your preferred date of collection during the online checkout process. Please place your order at least 2 days in advance, so that we can ensure that all your products will be available and ready for pickup.

You will be sent a reminder via SMS the day before your indicated date of collection. At the shop, please give your name and phone number to our staff, so that we can quickly identify your order and get you ready to go!

We do not offer delivery at the moment. You may wish to arrange for third-party delivery services to pick up your order. If so, please provide the name and phone number indicated during your order checkout process to the courier, so that our staff can correctly identify your order.

Yes! Tai Thong Cake Shop is a small family-owned business, and we manage our own website and social media presence.

We accept cash and PayNow payments in-store; credit card and PayPal payments online.

We typically consider 50 boxes and above as bulk orders. Please call the shop directly so that our bakers can advise if they are able to accommodate and fulfill a large-quantity order.
